Off to see the groundhog?
Here are some fun facts about Groundhogs thanks to National Geographic (https://www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/article/groundhogs-day-animals-wildlife)
1) They are part of the squirrel family.
2) They are also known as 'Woodchuck' even though it has nothing to do with wood.
3) They build impressive homes. A groundhog's burrow can be up to 60ft long, with multiple exits and a number of rooms.
4) Farmers consider them pests. Not only do they eat the farmer’s food, but they also build their homes underneath the farmland.
5) They like to live alone.
6) When they sleep, they really sleep. They are hibernating pros.
